I’m interested in this survey because I eat a lot of cucumber and could never understand why they’re all shrink wrapped.
I see no problem with cucumbers that aren’t straight. Also I’m concerned that there may be chemicals in the shrink wrap. There were no tests in this report re vitamins and nutritional value. When I was younger, all fruit and vegetables were sold without plastic. The public were used to this and just bought little and often. Food that was substandard was sold off at the end of the day by a greengrocer.
